How we earn

AirportHero is free to use and carries no adverts. This page explains exactly how we are paid and how that affects what you see.

Commission from providers

When you follow one of our booking links and book, the provider may pay us a commission, usually between 2% and 12.5% of the booking. You book and pay on the provider’s own site, at their own price. We add nothing, and the commission never changes what you pay.

How we choose what to show

For each service at each airport we show one provider, chosen by a fixed rule:

• Only providers that actually cover that airport and service are considered.
• Where more than one does, we show the one that pays us the higher commission rate.
• No provider can pay a fee to appear, to be featured, or to be moved up. There are no sponsored spots.

Where no provider covers an airport, we say so and link you to the airport’s own website. We earn nothing from those links.

Links

Most booking links go through an address on our site starting /go/, which records that a link was used before sending you on. A few providers ask for their own link to be used instead, so those go straight to the provider and we record the click as you leave. The privacy notice explains what that record contains.
